About Roger

Roger Easley believes everyone can learn photography.  Today’s cameras and smart phones are powerful specialized computers, and Roger can clear up the confusion when learning to navigate a camera’s features and menus.  An enthusiastic photographer for many years, he listens intently and can patiently explain technical terms in an understandable way. 

Roger is delighted to share his knowledge and his philosophy that the key to outstanding photos is combining skill and creativity, not extremely expensive equipment or travel to exotic locations.  He believes photographers should maximize the capabilities of the equipment they already own, and buy new gear only when they feel limited.  Roger can help you discover the creative potential in your camera equipment—and in yourself.
